I like to make things. I’m most active (and practiced) in writing, music, and baking, but I’m happy to try my hand at arts and crafts of all kinds. I’m a sucker for post-structuralism, a good plot, and a shouted chorus. Work-wise, I try to put my organizational mindset to good use, helping groups of people work together to reach shared goals. I also enjoy sharing skills and ideas with others through teaching and discussion.
This website is not (just) a midlife crisis. I built it as a 40th birthday present to myself to document all of the things I’ve been working on, in a way that feels more personal and complete to me than a social media feed or the career-achievement columbarium of LinkedIn.
